La Grange Vent Caps Are a Wildlife Magnet. Here's What to Do.

If you live anywhere in or around La Grange, you already know the area is full of wildlife. Mule deer, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, woodpeckers, you name it. What most foothill homeowners don't realize is how much of that wildlife is interested in their dryer vent. Warm dry tunnels exiting the side of a building are exactly what a lot of small animals look for as nesting and shelter sites, and your vent cap is the only thing standing between them and the inside of your wall.

On the cleaning itself: long-occupied La Grange homes often have years of lint built up beyond what any home-center brush kit can reach.
